Does CBD Work?

CBD oil is found in everything from coffee, to lotion to cocktails, meatballs and just plain gel caps. But does it work? And for what? Those are the questions currently swirling and yet unanswered, from a scientific point of view. Anecdotally, however, many people are singing the praises of a combined CBD/MCT product (MCTs = medium chain triglycerides – most commonly coconut oil). But for what benefit? For pain relief. If arthritis, or just aching joints and muscles are an issue you wrestle with, this may be your answer. I, personally use a combination of CBD and menthol (product pictured) for glute and hamstring tears from years of cycling and running, and have found relief and an ability to reduce NSAID consumption. No promises yet, but more research will be coming on the endocannabinoid system and our receptors. I’m already a believer that more good news will be coming. Stay tuned!
