b-untethered Founder and CEO, Anissa Buckley is a nationally-recognized health & wellness expert, entrepreneur, and avid adventurer with a passion for helping people transform their lives through purpose, motivation, and challenge. She holds an MBA and a BS from Cornell University, an Integrative Health Coaching certification from Duke Integrative Medicine, a holistic nutrition counseling certification (CHHC) from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and a personal training certification (CPT) from The National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Prior to launching b-untethered, Buckley founded a nutrition company and developed the retail industry’s leading nutrition database, healthyAisles™ which scores grocery items for health claims. The business success led to an invitation to The White House to confer with President Obama’s chef on the Let’s Move program. The company was acquired in 2007.

Prior, Buckley spent 15 years with Procter & Gamble, Sprint, and Birds Eye Foods. She also co-founded Real Life Food and Fitness, a fitness studio with fresh 500 calorie meals, HIIT fitness classes and health coaching under one roof which was acquired in 2015.

Since 2015, Buckley has been pursuing physical endeavors and biohacking life to better understand the integration between physical and mental challenge and purpose and fulfillment in life.

Annette is the President of Annette Maggi & Associates, Inc. where she works behind the scenes in the food industry developing programs and services that help consumers make purchase decisions that align with healthy living recommendations. Maggi is a sought-after resource in the nutrition and regulatory field with experience at Fortune 500 companies including Pillsbury, General Mills and Target. She is recognized as a distinguished speaker and writer and has a reputation as a driven performer and partnership builder. Annette lives in Minnesota with her husband, son, and English bulldog. She starts her days with early morning workouts, spanning from yoga to spin class to weight training. Annette has entered her midlife years, and believes more than ever that women are unique and powerful creatures and not simply smaller men.

Kathy Redden

Master Trainer

Kathy Redden’s journey as a leader in health and fitness began over 30 years ago where she led group exercises classes at UT Rec while attending college. Her specialty and intense passion has always been changing lifestyles. Kathy has led marathon and triathlon training clinics for first-timers as well as experienced endurance athletes, and has also created and successfully run several swim and cycle technique coaching classes. She was awarded Top 3 Indoor Cycling Instructors in Austin Fit Magazine and has been featured in several Austin and Texas publications for her client success stories. She has also appeared repeatedly on several local TV News shows for her training expertise. In 2012. founded Tetra Fitness, an elite training facility. During her tenure, she created over 20 new class formats. Redden sold the business in 2020. Kathy is an endurance athlete herself, completing the CRUCE DE LOS ANDES (100K trail run) and the BC BIKE RACE (7-day Mountain Bike Stage Race) as well as dozens of Adventure Trail Races all over the United States. She has also led Vacation Transformation BootCamps all over the world where groups of clients are “in her healthy care” for 5-7 days of adventure and fitness. Kathy is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certified, IDEA Health and Fitness Association Certified, a Trigger Point Performance Therapy practitioner, and a Z-Health Elite Performance Training System certified professional. When not training clients, you can find Kathy on her bike, playing volleyball in the sand, surfing Lake Austin or climbing a mountain.

Christopher Langhoff

COO & CFO

Chris is a Harvard MBA with 30+ years’ experience working for world class organizations such as Goldman Sachs & Co and PepsiCo as a senior financial officer.

Over the past 15 years, he has spent his time recruiting, accessing, and coaching talent for the Fortune 500 as well as private equity portfolio companies.

His work has included his own executive search boutique, a mental health start-up and has done extensive work around resiliency and understanding personal performance. A competitive golfer, he has recently started training for his first ironman at the age of 59.

Dr. Joanne Wu

Dr. Wu is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Integrative & Holistic Medicine MD who specializes in sustainable personal and corporate wellness. A graduate of The University of Rochester where she received her BA in Biomedical Engineering – Mechanical Engineering, as well as her MD, Dr. Wu served as a University physician and later as its PMR Residency Chief Resident. She is certified in Medical Acupuncture through Harvard Medical School and received her MBA from Capella University. She also holds certificates in Health Coaching & Nutrition Counseling (Institute of Integrative Nutrition), Worksite Wellness Management & Leadership (Chapman Institute), and Diversity & Inclusion (Cornell University). She has extensive experience in digital health, occupational medicine, and corporate wellness. Dr. Wu is passionate about mindful health coaching, corporate health delivery programs, preventative health initiatives, and mind/body empowerment.
