At b-Untethered Adventures, women grow stronger together - pushing, supporting, and celebrating one another along the way. Community becomes the catalyst. Courage becomes contagious. And what once felt impossible becomes achievable.
B-untethered Adventures are more than "just a hike" or a chance to step away from everyday life. They are a full-body, full-mind recalibration, the kind that sneaks up on you somewhere between your second snack break and your third existential epiphany.
For a midlife woman, especially, our adventures offers a rare and satisfying contradiction: you go to feel small in the vastness, and end up discovering just how expansive you are. Yes, there’s the obvious—strength, stamina, the quiet thrill of realizing your legs can carry you across a literal geological masterpiece. Body confidence doesn’t come from a mirror here; it comes from miles underfoot, from climbing out of a canyon knowing you powered every step. It’s less “Do I look fit?” and more “Oh—I am fit,” which is a much sturdier kind of confidence.

“We’re here for a good time, not a long time…or a steep incline.”
This is movement without (too much) suffering. Think moderately strenuous hikes in the company of other women and plenty of pauses that are are definitely for the view (and not at all because we’re winded).
Effort level: optional.
Enjoyment level: aggressively high. You’ll feel refreshed, slightly virtuous, and fully committed to dessert later.
Trips: Camino de Santiago Frances, Moab Dessert Hike, Tucson Sabino Canyon
“This seemed like a great idea when I signed up”
Now we’re talking. Real hikes, real elevation, and at least one moment where you renegotiate your life choices mid-trail. You don’t need to be in peak condition—but you should be ready to sweat, swear a little, and then feel wildly accomplished about it.
End result: stronger legs, louder confidence, and snacks that taste suspiciously like victory.
Trips: Patagonia W Trek, Morrocco Atlas Mountains + Marrakesch
“If I survive this, I’m insufferable for at least a year.”
This is where things get gloriously unhinged—in the best way. Big climbs, long days, and the kind of effort that strips life down to water, willpower, and “just one more step.” It’s tough, it’s transformative, and yes, at some point you will wonder who talked you into this (it was you).
But you’ll train, you’ll show up, and you’ll finish with the kind of confidence that no one—not even your inner critic—can argue with.
Trips: Mount Kilimanjaro, Grand Canyon Single-Day Rim2Rim, Bhutan
